Racer-Cruiser Laminates
Ramsay Racer-Cruiser Laminate Sails are for helms and crews who love to race and cruise. Designed for sailors who enjoy club racing, local regattas, championships, and coastal cruising, Ramsay Racer-Cruiser sails are built with performance laminates incorporating low stretch UHMWPE (Dyneema) and Polyester fibres bonded to polyester taffeta for UV protection and abrasion resistance. Tri-radial panels are aligned with the stress loads to give durable sails that hold their design shape for longer.
Palma Tec Black UPE and Polyester
Palma performance cruise laminates are available in 2 ranges. Palma Tec is engineered with Black fibres to give a racy technical grey appearance similar to Carbon and Aramid Grand Prix race fabrics, and Palma White is engineered with White fibres to give a white appearance similar to more conservative white woven sailcloth.
All Palma fabrics comprise Low stretch UHMWPE (Dyneema) and Polyester fibres laminated with Mylar and woven Taffetas for durability. UHMWPE is very low stretch, which is important for good shape holding, the key to boat speed. It is tough, has exceptional UV resistance and is all but impossible to cut or tear.

Palma White UPE and Polyester
Environmentally, Palma sets the standard using 100% recycled polyester fibre and recycled film, and a proprietary adhesive system that contains no PFAS's or solvents to bond all the materials together.
CDX Pro Grey or White Polyester
CDX laminates are engineered for durability and cruising performance. Designed around multiple sub-assemblies of polyester inserts, cross-plys, films, and taffetas, the layers are bonded with TiO2 adhesive for UV resistance and mildew prevention.
CDX Pro fabrics have a high strength to weight ratio to improve lower wind range performance and ease of handling.
