Warp Drive
Challenge developed Warp Drive for high load Radial sail applications. Warp Drive offers most of the low stretch characteristics of a laminate with the robustness of a woven sailcloth. Warp Drive sailcloth is made using Challenge’s patented process for weaving straight warp yarns in heavy fabrics. The specialized fill yarns take nearly all the crimp during the weaving process to create cloth with very low stretch along the load bearing warp fibres.
