Code Zeros

Racing Code Zeros are popular and successful with IRC ratings.  The Code Zero’s mid gith is more than 75% of its foot so while the sail is deployed as a large reaching genoa, it rates as a spinnaker.  If the Code Zero is smaller than the boat’s largest spinnaker, the IRC rating is unaltered.  Ramsay Code Zeros are built with high strength low weight Aramid laminates, and can give big speed advantages on reaches without a rating penalty.

Furlers enable short handed crews to fly large Code Zeros with ease.

Ramsay cruising Code Sails employ similar furling technology for simple handling and are built with affordable polyester sailcloth for durability.

Code Zero Silver and Optic 2 Aramid

Code Zero Optic 2

Code Zero Silver

Code Zero Silver fabric incorporates DP’s non-reflective film to achieve a slick flexible surface to facilitate roller furling.  The surface finish allows easier handling on the foredeck and minimizes friction in hoists and takedowns.  Black Aramid fibres produce a super lightweight, low stretch material with excellent UV stability, and an attractive light grey appearance.   Code Zero Optic 2  provides the same qualities with a Gold Fibre and Black X-Ply.

Code Tec Polyester

Code-Tec has tear and breaking strength not seen to date in lightweight Polyester fabrics.
